The story of our company began more than 20 years ago, in 1995, when our founders, Sherry and Sondra, met. They were both working at a large preferred provider organization, and, together, they became CPCS certified. Afterward, they went on to perform credentialing functions for over 1,000 providers who were contracted with over 30 managed care associations at St. Luke’s Shawnee Mission Physician System Organization (SLSMPSO).

In 2009, they decided to start offering their own credentialing management services in Kansas City, MO. Backed by more than 40 years of combined experience, they founded Credentialing & Consulting Alliance. Today, we proudly serve private practice providers and IPAs, perform medical staff functions for hospital systems and ambulatory surgery centers, and perform provider enrollment tasks for managed care organizations.

Our Staff

Sherry and Sondra are past presidents and remain active members of the Greater Kansas City Chapter of the National Association of Medical Staff Services. They successfully pass all annual audits at 100% based on NCQA and URAC standards. After SLSMPSO transitioned into, Kansas City Independent Physicians Association, they both ran the department for credentialing services.
